Hm. Something still didn't seem right. Masaru wanted to comment on it - especially since Norimasa still seemed a little tense and he hadn't missed the look that Ché had given him - but now wasn't really the time to do so, was it? No, he'd already been late as is, and Masaru got the distinct impression it wasn't something that should be talked about with the whole club anyways.
He'd have to ask Norimasa after practice.
"Good to see you guys back." Masaru grinned and nodded, doing a headcount. Wait a second, someone was...
...ah, there she was now! Masaru offered Eileen a bright smile, shaking his head at her concern. "It's no trouble, Harrington-san! We're all getting a late start today, it looks like." the man paused for a moment to adjust his glasses, feeling a little more in his element now that everyone was accounted for. He clapped his hands to get everyone's attention.
"Emmerson-san asked to lead the starting practice today, so let's get to it!"

His nerves were knotting in his stomach. He was worried about Norimasa and he was almost certain that Honda-Sensei had caught his look. That would probably lead to questions later on. He pulled at his hoodie sleeves, shifting uncomfortably. His arms were starting to itch and he swallowed, looking around at the other assembled members of the swim team.
At Crystal's question, he gave a bright false smile, "Yeah, everything's a-okay!" Once Eileen appeared, he put his hands in his pockets quickly, looking at his toes quietly, looking up as Honda-Sensei spoke again.
Looking at the pool he looked at himself, pulling at his hoodie. He wouldn't be able to wear it in the pool. He frowned for a minute, looking around the others and then nodding, looking at the pool again and then breathing out quickly. He'd have to be quick to get in the pool after taking his hoodie off.

Crystal was happy to see Eileen come to practice, smiling and greeted her friend quickly. "Hey, Eili!" She said before Honda-san said that everyone was ready to start practice. She stood up straight, clearing her throat lightly and nodded. "Right!"
She moved closer to the front so that people could see and hear her. "Alright! We're gonna start with laps, using the jump boards to start! A line of 5 people per board please and we'll start at the whistle when everyone's set up! Three rounds for everyone and one lap per person!"

"Oh, okay." Eileen visibly relaxed at Masaru's response, sighing quietly, so she hadn't been the only one late, good, she was just the last one late, which made her the latest. Spotting Che from class, she gave him a slight wave, jumping at Crystal talking to her. "Hi Crystal." She replied quietly.
The girl was always so bubbly and cheerful, Eileen wondered if it was ever stressful for her but decided not to voice it. At the instructions, Eileen got in line and took a soft breath and let it out. Well, it wasn't the diving board which was a relief, she hated going off the tallest one...it was too high and she hated heights. Just one lap, but three rounds, so that was three separate laps at three different intervals. The redheaded girl stretched a little while waiting in line, warming herself up a little bit in orer to not cramp up.
