Well, that went exactly how Finn expected it to. By that, he meant Crystal was a nearly inconsolable mess, all over his bedroom floor. He didn't blame her. He'd been the same way when he first watched FMA! It was just part of the viewing experience, but oh, did he feel the slightest bit bad for not actually warning her beforehand.
He also felt a little bad for taking a selfie with her at the peak of her breakdown. And posting it online.
But it was an iconic moment in their friendship! It needed to be shared!
"There, there, Crystal~!" Finn tried to soothe the girl, patting her on the shoulder. He wasn't sure whether or not it was helping. "You made it through all the hard parts! How about we go get some nibbles to make it better? I'll pay for everyone!" He had money for once! He glanced between Crystal, Kage (who'd tagged along with Crystal, as she usually did), and Ryan (who Finn invited so Crystal wouldn't be the only witness if he were murdered. Kage did have those awful little knife things, after all!)

Her heart was nowhere near ready for that series. It was a great series, yes! But the feels it gave you...Crystal was a wreck. Her face had been stained with tears along her hair sticking to her wet cheeks. She looked up to Finn when he patted her shoulder; thinking back she should be angry that he took a selfie with her in this state but right now....no. All her thoughts were on Nina, Alexander and Hughes....Oh god, Hughes!
"Why did they have to kill him so early on...?" She asked a large frowned on her face and sighed.
"Can we get ice cream, Gene?" She asked. Anyone that knew her, knew her obsession with ice cream.

Finn was a horrible, horrible person and Ryan wasn't sure why he liked him so much. What kind of monster forced someone to watch Fullmetal Alchemist with no warning!? Ryan had gone through this before and it still hurt! He'd had to look away so many times, even cover his ears! Poor Crystal. She just hadn't been ready.
He helpfully handed Crystal a small packet of tissues, sending her a sympathetic look. "You're doing better than I did when I watched it the first time," he confessed. "I was so mad at Gene I didn't say anything to him for almost an hour."

Kage had been a little confused when Crystal had invited her to marathon FMA with Finn and Ryan. Kage wasn't huge on anime, but there were a few shows Shiro had introduced her to that she actually liked. Would she admit how much she liked them? NOPE. Still, this show had been amazing and a complete hearbreak. Kage had found herself crying as well, though silently. She had her arms wrapped protectively around Crystal, simply comforting her girlfriend. Her eyes lifted to Finn, annoyed and fairly angry.
"Maeban," she grumbled, using her nickname for Finn. "Ye couldnay warn us?" she demanded. Still, she didn't HATE Finn. He just annoyed her....and he was Ryan and Crystal's friend, so she could put up with his antics for them. She took the offered tissues from Ryan with a nod of thanks.
"Here now, Gael," she said soothingly. She lifted Crystal's chin and took out one of the tissues, wiping the girl's face. "Mi deagh-chor. You're alright." She kissed Crystal's forhead, running her fingers through Crystal's bangs to unstick them from her face.

Finn gave a sheepish look.
"I did warn you!" Sort of! He'd told them to expect a rollercoaster, he just hadn't told them how steep. At least they knew now. His smile tightened as Kage tried to comfort Crystal. "Anyhow, ice cream sounds top! I know the perfect place! Ryan and I happened to find it once." They shared the largest sundae Finn had ever seen that afternoon. Kage and Crystal didn't need to know that bit of it, though.

"I wouldn't call that a warning, Gene..." Crystal said before sniffling, giving a light blush and pout when Kage helped wipe her face and fix her bangs. Now that she was settling down, she could feel some resentment towards her friend of many years. She looked up to Ryan and smiled softly. "You were worse than I am, Ryan?" She asked surprised to hear that in which it made her lean over and give her other friend a hug. "I'm so sorry that Gene was that mean to you." She said shooting a glare to Finn and stuck up her nose; her normal sign that she was upset with someone...which didn't happen often.
She let go of Ryan then, turning back to Kage and smiled at her again. "Thank you, love." She whispered. Crystal was still shy when it came to being cute and loving around people but around certain people, it showed me. She leaned over, giving Kage a hug before planting a kiss on her partner's cheek. "Let's go get that ice cream though...I think I can go for something pretty big today." She grinned; it was partly to get back at Finn for making her cry. Now she'll gorge a bit on ice cream as payment.

Ryan just laughed, returning the hug. "Yeah, he's pretty mean to me all the time. I don't know why I put up with him." He scooted away from Crystal after she pulled back, returning to his spot next to Finn.
"Ooh, yeah, let's go to that place!" Ryan's eyes lit up. He already felt a little bad for Finn. It'd been kind of expensive... but then again, he'd been with Finn long enough to know if he really wanted to do something, he didn't care how much it cost. "I'll go get my bag. Don't leave without me, please." He stood up, disappearing from Finn's room - he'd left his bag in the kitchen, since he hadn't especially needed it for just sitting around in Finn's room.

Kage snickered a bit. Ice cream sounded good, but poor Finn was in for a surprise. Kage was such a picky eater. Half her friends thought she was crazy because she didn't really like chocolate. She could eat it now and then, but the taste eventually became too much for her. Kage felt her cheeks grow a bit red when Crystal kissed her. They hadn't been together very long but they'd grown rather affectionate with each other. Kage didn't mind. She'd always been the type to cling. Crystal didn't seem to mind, though.
"Hold up, Caineal. I'll come with you." Kage had nicknames for all her close friends. Ryan was no different. Kage followed Ryan into the kitchen and picked up her own bag, a hand-knit bag that was fraying. The knitting almost looked like plaid. It was rather pretty, but obviously fairly old. "I'm actually glad you guys invited me," she told Ryan, "...despite the heartbreak, I had fun."

Ryan was relieved that Kage's bag wasn't all fancy and designer, like everyone else at Ouran seemed to have - not that there was anything wrong with it! His was just a crossbody bag with a (pretty neat) galaxy pattern. He'd also stuck a few buttons onto the straps. Why not? They were cute little aliens and his X-Files husband!
He smiled at her, shrugging one of his thin shoulders. "It's no problem. I'm glad you had fun!" Ryan rummaged through his bag, as if looking for something. He didn't seem to find it and closed it up again, holding back a yawn. "I hope you're not too perturbed at Gene for it. I made him watch something else in revenge for this when I watched it, and when it was done he just laid on my floor for like, half an hour."

Kage chuckled. "I have a series I could introduce him ter, but I'm pretty sure it'd break him with just the history aspect of the show," she explained. Outlander had been based on a pretty risque romance novel, but Kage had fallen in love with it. Especially Claire. Kage thought that woman had the bone structure of a goddess. She grinned at Ryan, though, and headed back into the living room with him.
"We all ready? I could use something sweet."

Finn looked up from smoothing his hair over in his mirror and shot Kage and Ryan a grin.
"Sure! I'll walk us downstairs~." He turned and plucked a drowsy Poppy from his bed. She protested by flailing her legs, but gave up within seconds. "Come on, Poppy, we can't leave you up here!" No doubt she'd end up wandering down to find Dad and trigger her arthritis.
With Poppy tucked under his arm, he headed out of his bedroom, leading Ryan and the girls downstairs to the front door. He decided to let Poppy down at the front while he waited for everyone to catch up to him. The corgi shuffled off around the corner.

Crystal smiled lightly as she followed Gene downstairs. Poppy was getting older now and she felt terrible for the smaller dog. "How far is it from here, Gene?" She asked and once downstairs, took Treasa's hand and held it. She was so pleased and happy that Gene and had sent out the invitation to Treasa as well to watch Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.

Ryan immediately moved away from Kage to stand by Finn, lovingly petting the top of Poppy's head at every opportunity he had. Precious little Poppy! He loved her so much. When she shuffled away, he watched her and vaguely wondered what exactly corgi life was like. Probably weird. His legs would be so short. "Bye, Poppy~ See you later, buddy!" He stepped in front of Finn, leaning against the wall to get his shoes on.
He peeked at Crystal and Kage again, then focused his attention on his phone. Would it ever stop being gross outside? The only advantage to this constant rain meant he got to share an umbrella with Finn. And it wasn't sunny.

Kage managed to give Poppy a few pettings as she waited for the room to slip her boots on. The straps made her take a little longer, but the moment she was standing, Crystal had taken her hand. She shot her girlfriend a loving smile. Kage loved the rain and she didn't mind walking in it. The only downside would be the scolding she'd get from her grandmother for 'inconveniencing Kouta with her wet clothes'. It waS fine Scottish weather. The rain was falling straight down...well slightly to the side-like.
"Ye afraid of a wee bit of rain, Gael? I thought ye loved the water."

"I'm certainly afraid of it." Finn pulled a squeamish face, the corners of his mouth yanking down, as he grabbed one of the umbrellas from the stand near the door. He'd already slipped on his shoes. "It's bucketing down out there!"
He was used to the rain, but that didn't mean he had to like it! Kage seemed to revel in all things outside, though. It was odd. He preferred when it was sunny out. Well, either way, he'd promised Crystal ice cream, and he was admittedly really excited about it himself.
Finn opened the door, stepped outside and opened his umbrella, waiting for Ryan to join him underneath. The walk would be more tolerable if he had someone cute next to him!
