optimistic - kind - supportive - peaceful
A gentle, warm girl, Airi refuses to let her circumstances govern her life. She has been held back a year due to her health, and placed in a less rigorous class to avoid creating stress on her, leaving her to feel a little awkward about being in second year again. That being said, she's delighted to make friends with others!
Friends
Airi enjoys making friends with others. Her kind demeanor tends to put people at ease.
- Ryan Yang - tfw heart problems. In all seriousness, Ouran sought to make Airi and Ryan feel like they weren't alone with their heart conditions. Though their friendship started off a little awkwardly, the two of them are fairly good friends and often grumble about their health when they both end up stuck in the Nurse's Office.
- Reiichi Murakami - Before her relapse, Airi was in Class 2-A, and though plenty of rumors circled about the Demon of 2-A, Airi had never seen any of that. (Mostly because Murakami tried to make sure she was doing well.) Still, Murakami expected the best from her, as he did everyone else, and Airi deeply respects Murakami for that. They slowly struck up a sort of friendship, and Airi has seen his kinder side as a result. After fainting in his class and being forced to pull out for the rest of her initial second year, Airi has been a little too nervous to talk with Murakami again, worried he thinks less of her for not coming back to his class.
- Airi and Finn Yamamoto are acquaintances, though Airi thinks well of him! Ryan tends to gush about Finn and they seem happy together whenever Airi sees them together. She wishes them the best!
- Airi and Elene Saijo are also acquaintances, having met in the Nurse's Office while Elene was trying to not die of cramps. She seems nice, if a little quiet. She wouldn't mind meeting her again.
- Airi is a huge fan of Michiko Fujiwara's costuming skills and has recently had the opportunity to both see her costumes up close and meet the person behind it all! Funnily enough, they're in the same class, and Airi hopes they can become friends.
Enemies
Airi prefers to handle things peacefully. She doesn't really like to make enemies, but we're all human...

Airi hasn't really set aside time for romance, though she's had a fanciful crush on a girl or two throughout the years. She's definitely receptive to romance though!
