The day was sunny, and warm. Eileen Harrington decided to cut off studying a little early today to get some well deserved vitamin D into her system. She headed towards the park, her hair in a half-ponytail, wearing a set of jean shorts and a dark green t-shirt with slightly puffy sleeves and she had a pair of plain black flats on her feet. A black mini-backpack on her back with the things she usually carried around which included her wallet, house keys, cellphone, MP3 player, and a few other things.
Wandering into the park, the redhead openly admired the green space, humming softly to herself. She was glad to be outside, and not stuck in the house poring over books and notes. She'd already gotten her homework done, so she felt she deserved a break for once. Eileen wasn't sure where the need to just go out had come from but she definitely didn't regret it.

Leo had to get out after that phone call. Talking to his father was never a pleasant thing anymore so now he needed to let the steam out so to speak. He walked into the park, his hands in his shorts pockets and grumbled to himself under his breath. Leo didn't pay too much attention to where he walked, just making sure that he had followed the park's paved pathway. It was a little too warm for his leather jacket today but he did wear a brown tank top with his shorts and grey and black sneakers.

Eileen popped in her earbuds and turned her MP3 player on. She was a bit of a cheapskate at times, but why bother getting new tech when her Zune worked just fine? She started singing along softly to Katy Perry's "Roar", walking at a decent pace, unaware of a blonde, fluffy-haired frenchman going along the same path as she was just enjoying herself and the warm weather, Out here in the park Eileen felt she could be herself a little bit. She didn't have to worry most of the time about people judging her, though a lot of the time she didn't care, people would probably whisper, and stare a little but no one would actually come up to her and start talking down to her, shesqueaked as she stumbled over a crack in the pavement, falling down. "Ow..." She muttered. Picking herself up, her face fell, the MP3 player had smashed on the ground. Sighing heavily, Eileen sat on the pavement after taking her earbuds out and quickly gathered the pieces, attempting to put the thing back together.

Leo blinked when he heard someone squeak and sound as if they hit the ground. He looked up as he had been looking down and was surprised to see one of his classmates...Eileen if he remembered correctly. "You alright, Eileen?" He asked hoping that he didn't confuse names or that'd be even more embarassing...for the both of them. He reached a hand down to help her up, keeping one hand in his pocket. One hand was certainly enough to lift her up to her feet...the height and more than likely weight difference was a good difference between them.

Eileen blinked when someone came over to her and spoke. Slowly she looked up, sky blue eyes meeting teal. Oh god, it was Jean-Pierre... She blushed faintly and looked down. "I'm alright." She assured him. "Though my Zune...not so much." She sighed at the pieces in her hands and shook her head, then looked up again blinking at the hand extended towards her.
The five foot tall redhead blushed again and shifted the Zune pieces to her left hand. Raising her right arm, she slowly grasped Leo's hand and pulled herself up, stumbling a little bit. Regaining her balance she looked around, trying not to look at the frenchman. She was extremely awkward around men and the fact of the matter was, Leo was highly attractive so she genuinely felt like a shy schoolgirl around him.
"Um...thanks.." She said shyly. "For um...helping me up..." She fidgeted a little bit, why did everyone have to be so damn tall? It was ridiculous! It frustrated her, because her mother was barely brushing five foot three which meant Eileen was doomed to be a tiny little thing forever. She peeked up shyly through her eyelashes at Leo, not sure what to think..that fluffy hair was like a lion's mane, the teal eyes were so unique, Eileen had never seen them before. And he wasn't the muscular tall kind of guy, he was slender and almost elegant looking.
What was she thinking?! She was mentally fangirling over Leo and she had to stop, she'd been fine up until now guy-wise at the school though there were plenty of handsome men going there but something about Leo...it made her heart skip a beat.

Leo watched as Eileen got herself up, looking to her Zune in her left hand. "I'm glad you're alright though." He said simply wondering why she was always so shy. He grinned then and chuckled. "I'm glad to see you don't have your nose in a book for a while. Some times that's a bit concerning." He said playfully and shrugged his shoulders. "So, what brings you here?"
Leo wasn't exactly lying when it was concerning about seeing her always have her nose in a book. It brought up questions; did she eat enough? did she sleep enough? Things that he's at times have dealt with his own mother going through. What would stop a girl her age if her parents weren't around?

"Thanks Jean-Pierre." Eileen gave a slight nod in his direction, the slightest ghost of a smile upon her face before it disappeared, why did people always worry about what needn't be worried about? She gave her head just a light shake, she wasn't someone to worry about, not really, but the thought of Leo being just a tad bit concerned for her made her shift slightly, feeling slightly flattered.
When he asked what brought her here, the petite irish teen put the pieces of her beloved Zune in her mini-backpack then zipped her mini backpack back up, which was shortly accompanied by a slight shrug at the blonde's question. "Not much, I decided to take a slight break from studying." She replied. "How about you? What brings you out here to the park?"

Leo watched Eileen, his hands in his pockets. She was so tiny compared to him and it was rather funny with the height comparison. He smirked lightly. "A break is good; you might end up needing glasses if you aren't careful." He told her before shrugging when she asked about why he was in the park. "Just getting out. It's boring and I have nothing to do at the house."
He shifted and looked at her once again. "Hey, feel like a ride? I have an extra helmet." He offered.
