There's No Problems, Right? [Flashback Thread; Scarlett]

Iyaza listened to Scarlett, frowning with some her words. She lightly tapped Scarlett on the arm, stopping their walk under one of the trees.

"Well, I know you have some friends already. You even got Sho as a boyfriend. You shouldn't feel too bad about losing tour old friends. It does happen but you're on your way to making a new and happy life here."

She paused for a moment before smiling a little wider. "If you'd like...I'll be another friend of yours, Scarlett. So that I can start making friends as well, just like you advised me."

Izaya felt a little stupid when she heard Scarlett mention that new friendships don't replace the old ones. "They don't...but that doesn't mean you can cherish the news ones." She said softly.

She looked down for a minute before Scarlett said that they could be friends and smiled rather widely at the girl. "Thank you!"

"Oh!" Izaya's eyes seemed to brighten up at the mention of video games and actually let out a little giggle as she covered her mouth. "I play everything. Console games, PC games, App games, handheld games." She paused for a moment for nodding to herself. "If you'd like, you can see my gaming library in my dorm."

Izaya smiled as she led the way up, glad that she wasn't too far up in the dorms and nodded. "I've played them all. I love Pokemon and Animal Crossing personally. GTA, I've played all of them but I prefer Saint's Row." She added and stopped in front of her dorm. She opened the door for Scarlett letting the girl inside first. 

"I would love to play some games with you at any time, Scarlett." She said taking off her school shoes and closed the door. She headed inside, the rooms lined with book shelves of books, video games and some collectibles as well. She had a small table set up, where she had a tea set out in place and some crackers that had been covered.  

"I'm sorry that it's a bit messy but I tend to keep my room pretty organized and cleaned. Same with the bedroom." She added and put her bag down by the table. "Umm, well for other things, I like to read and collect stuff animals." She blushed a bit though and sat down. "And well...I can copy animal and creature sounds." 

"Ah, I don't hunt...I just liked imitating animals when I was little and stuck to it." She said moving to make some tea for them and smiled at Scarlett. "I can....ummm, show you if you want to hear something." She said before vaguely hearing Scarlett mutter a name. "Erik?" She asked curiously. 

"Oh! I'd like that! Why don't you choose what you'd like to play? I have all the consoles set up, so it won't be too hard to play whichever system you want." 

"Ah, okay." Izaya said. Was that too weird? Maybe I can show her that I can copy Pokemon, then it'd be interesting?  She thought to herself, bringing out the tea when the whistle went off. She placed it down on the mat on the table and looked to Scarlett when she answered about Erik. 

"Oh...I see. He sounds like a really nice person, Scarlett." She said pouring the tea for both of them and smiled when Scarlett picked out Halo. "That's fine with me! I have everything unlocked and ready to use. You can pick which ever way you want to play and whatever controller works best for you or you like the designs. I have a few special ones that are over there." She said moving to the TV to get it set up, only needing to switch out one cable before the system was set up and ready. 

Izaya had finally finished setting up Halo, putting the case down on the TV stand and walked back to one of the cushions she had by the table and smiled to Scarlett. "You're welcome. What would you prefer to do, Scarlet? Story mode in co-op? Maybe with a harder difficulty? Or Multiplayer? I don't mind either." 

Izaya was signing into her Xbox live account when Scarlett was saying that it'd be better for them to go against each other. "That's fine with me. Hmm," She put her controller down, picking up her own tea and sipped a bit. "Let's go with Orbital. It's been a while since I've played on that map. Do you mind?" She asked putting her cup back down on the table and smiled. "10 is just fine. I do have some studying to do tonight for a test coming up."
