A behemoth of a monster, coated in sharp scales and dripping horns, struggled to remain standing. Dark, fiery light danced across it's skin, burning it like fire. In a matter of seconds it collapsed on the floor and in it's final moments it's body began to decay until it was a pile of bones and tendons on the mossy stone floor.

Anima, a white mage, stepped over to where it had fallen. Little achievements from UI flashed along the bottom of the screen and the game alerted to him and the party about the items they'd received for the quest. On the floor under the fallen boss was extra loot, too. He picked up some of the coins and a pair of boots, leaving a few items for the others.

"Good Job! Did you get anything good?" He wrote in the party text, pulling up equipment and item UIs. 'Staff of Halation' The staff he received was better than previous and it looked much cooler. Little silver and black bobbles all over it and the top was in an extravagant shape that looked like it was made out of some metal.

'Pointed Boots: +3'
Average boots, slightly better then what he had but the same design and color. Plus a better resistance to poison effects. He switched those, too. The old stuff he'd sell when they got to town. Anima hovered the mouse over 'canopus' to see if he'd switched to new gear as well. It would suck if they'd just spent the past thirty minutes on that quest and the gear wasn't any good.
