Kage hadn't really wanted to go out today. She wanted to spend her Sunday inside, working on her dances for dance team and the script for the school play, but Duncan insisted she stop locking herself in her room all the time and come shopping with him. Kage had been sour at first, knowing it meant spending a day around PEOPLE, but after a little while, she'd started to loosen up and actually have fun. She and her brother didn't get to spend much time together anymore. Duncan had a future to think about. College was coming on close. He also had a part time job now, which made it even harder for them to have evenings to just talk.
Kage had made a comment about wanting to check out a particular store. Ageha was a little sour with her and Kage hoped to smooth things over. She knew Ageha liked expensive, designer make-up, so Kage had decided on a set of really pretty lipsticks. It had taken Kage a few minutes to find the right shades for Ageha's skintone. Kage was actually pretty good with make-up, despite her normal attire. The hardest part was judging for someone else, but Kage had once been just as tan as Ageha, so Kage knew vaguely what colors would work. She just hoped Ageha would like them. Maybe Ageha would be more keen on helping her now.
The next store was clothes. Duncan's fashion sense was a little....strange. He looked handsome but the loose fitting clothes did nothing for him. Still, to each their own. Kage wasn't about to pick on him for sticking out like a sore thumb. Look at her in her straight-jacket like top, layered skirt that stuck out at odd angles with random fish netting and platform boots that buckled up her calves. Today was rare, her hair was let down. She often left her hair down and home and Duncan hadn't even given her enough time to style it into her normal corscrew pigtails. She HAD had enough time to brush it out and put her favorite star hairclip in her hair. It always made her happy and a little sad to wear it. It had been the last thing Prim and Hyacinth ever gave her.
"Duncan, I'm gettin' a little hungry," she said to her brother, looking over her shoulder as she paid for the tops she had found. "What say we find someplace ter eat?" She waited for her brother to pay for his finds and then headed down the street with him, her eyes scanning the stores. She didn't particularly have anything in mind so if Duncan decided he wanted something, she'd be cool with that.

Duncan was determined to take his sister out today. He wasn't working and he was tired of being in the house. Shopping sounded good...maybe some short sleeved shirts rather than the mostly flannels that he had purchased or brought to Japan during the colder months. While they were out, though Duncan wasn't all too keen with Treasa's new style of clothing, he couldn't exactly yell at her for it. She was old enough to pick and choose her own style. He may be the older brother but he couldn't coddle her too much...which that in itself was hard to do.
He leaned back against a counter, looking to his sister when she said she was hungry. "Ya, I know a place to eat. It's good all around with price and taste." He smiled and pushed off the counter, leading the way outside. Treasa didn't get out as much as she should, in which he was glad for Crystal and Shiro helped in that area. Down one street and a simple turn, Duncan looked up to the restaurant called La Beurre. "We can eat in here, my treat as well, Treasa." He opened the door and let her in first before he would follow inside.

It'd ended up being ridiculously hot today! Prim was so glad she brought her parasol, and she was doubly glad it was one of those cool parasols that cooled the air down around her. She couldn't very well run around being all hot and sweaty, right? That'd be disgusting, and she wasn't a disgusting person.
She stopped a few feet away from the entrance to some restaurant and whirled around, glaring at her maddeningly slow sister and boyfriend. Narrowing her eyes, she lazily spun her parasol in her hands. "Can you two hurry up!?" She screeched, gripping the parasol tightly. Who did they think they were!? Honestly! She was even wearing heels and they were still slower than she was - and Kenta was a giant, he had no excuse!

"Keep your knickers on, Rose!" Honestly! The restaurant wasn't about to up and float away! "Somebody's got to make sure your boyfriend doesn't wander into the road!"
But the effort surely wasn't worth Prim's screeching! How on Earth was she the older one when she ran around screaming over everything like a toddler?! Hyacinth stomped over to her sister, picking up the pace and leaving Kenta lagging behind. She was getting hot and thirsty plodding along like this, admittedly.

Kenta meandered along like he didn't even hear Prim and Hyacinth carrying on. He was too occupied with fiddling with his phone, browsing the web while he waited for Bam! School Idols to finish updating. Good Lord, it was taking forever.
He finally dragged his eyes up just long enough to see how far behind he was and bustled over. Prim got even louder the more she had to wait on things and he could only tune her out at so many decibels. He squinted up at the restaurant awning, eying the name scrawled across. "La Beurre?" Was that French? What sort of name was that for a café?

Duncan's treat? How much money was he making, anyway? Well, it didn't matter. He was treating her to food and that was fine. She headed into the restaraunt, humming to herself. Just as they reached the counter, waiting to be seated, she heard a voice at the doorway. Vaguely familiar and screechy. The voice it reminded her of was younger, though....in a memory left lingering at the back of her mind...of friends long lost when her father couldn't pay the electric bill.
She turned to stare at the girl in the doorway and for a moment, Kage expected to see a little girl with an impatient face....but it was a girl her age. No...it couldn't be, could it? Where had Beth said Prim and Hyacinth moved to? She racked her brain to remember but it was so long ago that she was sure she was remembering it wrong. Tokyo? No....she hadn't said Tokyo. Had she? Kage reached out a hand to grab her brother's wrist. She watched as two more joined her in the doorway. A twin and a boy.
Twins. Hyacinth and Prim had been twins. "Ro....Ro...." she couldn't bring herself to say it. Tears threatened to spill as her heart swelled with happiness. No. Don't get your hopes up. It couldn't be them....but in the mountains of unhappiness that had clouded her heart since leaving Scotland, she clung for just a sliver of hope. For just the smallest amount of familiarity.

Duncan had been looking at the small special boards placed about before he heard the screeching from another soon to be customer. Dear lord, can't the girl take others inter consideration? He thought as he went back to looking about the food sold. That was until he felt Treasa's hand on his wrist. He looked down to her. Her face looked a bit paler than normal...it was almost as if she'd seen a ghost. Carefully he followed her gaze, catching the start of words from his sister's mouth.
Not far behind them, were three people: A boy and two girls, more specifically twins. Duncan furrowed his brows in thought, something about them were oddly familiar. What was it though? He, Treasa and Keagan had known a set of twins back in Scotland but lost touch of them when their father lost electricity for the house. Their names...their names escaped him at the moment but he remembered the faces. The faces! That was it! He blinked before letting out a chuckle and looked to Treasa. He nudged her carefully on the arm leaning in to whisper. "How 'bout I talk ter them. Do a bit flirting ter see if it's the twins we played with, eh?"

Prim folded her parasol up, letting it hang from her wrist while she scribbled her name down on the cafe's waitlist. She'd looked this place up and it seemed... decent for the area. Also, it wasn't too busy. She wanted a parfait as big as her head! She'd settle for nothing less. Prim fidgeted with her clothes. Her garter was being particularly annoying today.
And then she noticed the two people staring at them. O... kay. What did they want? She glanced at them, scooting closer to Kenta. "They're staring at us," she murmured. "Why?" Were they lost? Was there something on Prim's face (or, more likely, Hyacinth's)? Maybe something was wrong. The girl looked like she was going to cry.
Prim shot a Look towards Hyacinth, raising her eyebrows just a tad.

Hyacinth returned the same Look, frowning. Why on Earth was that girl eyeballing them so strongly? And why was she about to cry? Hyacinth narrowed her eyes in the girl's direction. Her face seemed familiar, but the person this girl reminded her of wouldn't have set foot outside Scotland.
"I don't like this." she muttered to Prim. "Let's find someplace else."

With all of them inside the restaurant, Kenta was content to bury his attention into his phone again - at least until they were seated. Bam! School Idols had finished updating, and he was eager to join in on some score battles. His ultra rare Yui card was completely maxed out by now. It would be perfect for slaying whatever meager competition there was.
He wasn't aware anything was wrong until Prim nudged closer to him.
Kenta looked up from his phone, his thumb hovering over the 'start' button. Oh. It wasn't so bad. So that girl and the man beside her were staring. He didn't much care.
"Ignore them." They'd already came all this way.

Duncan offered to go flirt. Kage shook her head furiously. There was a boy with them and that could cause problems. Kage still remembered the day Prim had defiantly sworn she would NEVER have a boyfriend, but Kage knew better. Prim already had a wedding planned out in her head when they were seven. That was for sure. She stepped toward the group, letting go of her brother's arm, her legs, her whole body shaking as she approached them. Her mouth was dry. If she was wrong....what would she do?
"Rois? Bogha?" She had always used the Gaelic versions of their names. Her own little pet names for them. For her friends. For her sisters. All she wanted to do was tell them how sorry she was that they never got to say goodbye....that she had missed so much of their lives. They'd probably moved on and forgotten her. "Is that ye? Can it really be....?"

"Alright, kiddo." Duncan said walking with her over to the table, glancing around them all. "I thought neither of yer wanted ter deals with boys, not after how we played together." He commented and grinned widely, leaning down a bit in a half bow. "In case ye two are who we think ye are...ye should remember big brother Duncan."
Well...if this don't work, I'd be the biggest arse for the next month! He thought and straightened up as he leaned to the side. "I'd hope that ye remember, Treasa, if not me as well."

Prim stared at the two, her face twisted in confusion. She swore she knew them, but... couldn't quite remember? It was weird. She frowned just the tiniest bit at them, right up until she heard that name. She hadn't heard it in years! And nobody would know except...
"Treasa? Duncan?" She beamed, her eyes sparkling. How bizarre was it that they met up here? For years, the two had gone on and on about how they'd never leave Scotland - Prim had been thrilled to leave, but it'd been nice to meet people that liked it.

Hyacinth blinked. Well, that explained who this girl and the frustratingly tall boy were. Treasa was the only person who called her and Prim those names. Honestly, these were the last two people Hyacinth expected to run into - especially in Japan. They'd always been so rooted to Scotland, swore that they wanted to live there forever. What had finally forced them out?
Oh, she already had a few theories... but that could wait.
"Oh." That was all she could think to say initially. The two of them hadn't even crossed her mind in so long. She'd adapted so quickly to Tokyo, found her own life, so it wasn't like she had the time or energy to reminisce. This was sort of awkward. She still couldn't say she was pleased. "Hello, Treasa." She forced herself to peek at Duncan. "Duncan." Her gaze immediately flickered back to Treasa.

Kenta kept his attention firmly rooted in his game. For the most part. His ears were open, since Prim had been so nervous - it helped that he'd played this particular song so many times. So she knew these people. At least that was settled. He'd wait until he cleared this round before he said anything, though. He didn't know these people, and he couldn't really afford to look away as it was. This was an 'expert' level match.
Prim and Hyacinth could surely handle themselves.
