By the time Deedee had got up to go over to the boy Scarlett had beat her to it. Flopping back down in her chair she twisted a string of hair around her finger. "Sure I'm up for a group practice."
Taking the bread she torn bits and pieces off and popped it into her mouth. Turning to Finn she raised a brow at him. "Yeah what are you going to perform Finn? I don't think you every told us."

Scarlett was quiet for a minute, looking down at Ethan then gave a half shrug, "He's not clumsy, everything else is just awkward." She didn't pursue the subject, choosing to eat what was left of her melon bread in small bites.
Listening to the other people prattling on she nodded in agreement but chose not to speak for a minute, swallowing what she had left of her melon bread and putting a hand to her mouth quietly to wipe away crumbs. When the topic of conversation switched to Finn she nodded eagerly.
"Yeah, what are you performing? Wait!" She clapped her hands, "Better yet, you can show us! You're always so good at performing!" She smiled, "I'd love to see!"

Perform? Right now?
Finn blinked, but managed to ease into his usual confidence.
"Well, alright!"
He beamed, pulling his bass from his shoulder. He needed to figure out which song to use. That shouldn't have been much of a problem, though. One of them was off the table immediately; it was sort of intimate, and he wanted it to be a surprise. It took him only a few seconds more of thinking to pick.
"Shouldn't you all be seated first? I can't perform for an audience that's standing up!" He worked on freeing his bass.

"Yeah, senpai! Why don't you show us?"
Suzu grinned. She loved watching Finn perform. She slid off the stage and found a seat in front, crossing one leg over the other. She envied his confidence. Unlike him, she hid behind a mask and couldn't admit to who she really was or that she liked to perform. She wanted to be like that one day. Unafraid of what others thought of her.
She managed to offer Ethan a smile and a wave. She didn't know him very well, but she wanted to. She turned her attention back to the stage and waited for Finn to start.
